Letting an exceptional villa in the South of France takes more than placing a listing. Between stays, the house has to be prepared, guests welcomed, the property looked after and questions answered at any hour. Hotel-standard management, what the French call para-hôtellerie, gives a private home the standards of a fine hotel without taking away what makes it special: being a home.
What hotel-standard management means
The term covers a set of hotel services brought to a private house: a welcome, housekeeping and linen worthy of a hotel, a concierge service, and a presence throughout the stay. For our guests, the villa keeps its privacy; they simply find the care they would expect from a great hotel.
For the owner, the difference is felt over time. A beautiful listing attracts a first stay. What builds a house’s reputation, feeds its reviews and brings guests back is steady service, stay after stay.
Every trade under one roof
We have chosen to bring together, within our own team, every trade that an exceptional villa calls for:
- an audit of the villa and a pricing strategy;
- professional photography and, where useful, home staging, carried out by our teams or by partner decorators;
- marketing, on our own direct booking site and on the major platforms;
- a personal welcome for every guest;
- hotel-quality housekeeping and linen;
- a private concierge service for our guests;
- teams available to your guests, 24/7;
- financial management and keeping up with the regulations.
One point of contact, then, who knows your house inside out. You do not have to coordinate an agency, a cleaning team, a laundry and a tradesman. If you would like to keep your own contractors, they remain very welcome.
Rates managed with you
Prices follow dynamic pricing, adjusted every day according to the season, demand and how close the dates are, by comparing your villa with the rest of our collection and with the market, within the framework we agree with you at the audit. Our aim is to let your villa well, without ever cheapening it.
Your villa has its own page on our website, where it can be booked direct, and is also listed on Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo, with synchronised calendars. We follow its calendar every day and compare it with the rest of the collection.
A hotel standard, stay after stay
Before every arrival, the villa is prepared room by room, to the standard of a fine hotel. The bed linen is of four-star hotel quality; on arrival, guests find Nuxe products from the Rêve de Miel range, Nespresso coffee and Dammann Frères teas.
This standard also shows in the official rating. For every villa in the collection, we aim for at least four stars in France’s official rating of furnished holiday lets (the meublé de tourisme classification). We put the file together and get the villa ready for the inspection: we know the Atout France criteria and check that the villa meets them before the inspector visits. If need be, we advise you on the improvements that lead there, then pass the certificate on to you.
Present at every stay
Every guest is welcomed in person at the villa, never by a key box. A full filmed inventory, with photographs for the details, is made before each arrival; at departure, our teams check the villa. Our terms and conditions set out the security deposit, the number of guests the villa sleeps and any gathering, which needs our written agreement.
A network of tradespeople, pool technicians and gardeners looks after the villa, and our teams stay available to your guests 24/7. We treat anything that affects the quality of a stay as an emergency, a pool turning green or an air conditioner failing in a bedroom, for example, and tell you afterwards; any major investment is always quoted for your approval. Major works are scheduled out of season.
Your villa, your stays, your accounts
A villa in our care remains yours. Tell us when you want to use it, ideally for the whole year: those dates are blocked and confirmed in writing, and can be changed with a simple message. Whenever you come, the house is prepared with the same care as for our guests.
On the financial side, you have online access to your calendar, your accounts and your documents. You receive a statement every month with your payment, and at the end of each season we review it together, including our guests’ comments.
Regulations, followed for you
Holiday letting in France is changing fast. The law of 19 November 2024 strengthened the tools for regulating furnished holiday lets: declaration and registration number, energy performance requirements, revised taxation. We keep track of these changes and turn them, in practical terms, into what they mean for your villa. Our collection brings together villas chosen one by one. Villa Halo, in the hills above Agde, Villa Monégasque, in Sérignan, and Villa Andria, in Béziers, give a sense of it. Each house comes in for what it is: its outdoor spaces, its comfort, its setting, the care it has been given.
If your villa shares these standards, you are welcome to join our collection. We consider every villa personally. We then visit the house with you, with nothing for you to prepare.
