Béziers Cap d’Agde airport is the closest to our villas in Agde, Sérignan and Béziers: a quarter of an hour’s drive from Agde. Further east, about 50 minutes from Agde, Montpellier airport offers a wider choice of routes. Here is how to choose, and what your arrival looks like.

Béziers Cap d’Agde airport

The airport is at Portiragnes, on the RD612. Depending on the season, it has direct flights from:

  • the United Kingdom: London (Stansted and Luton), Bristol, Manchester and Edinburgh;
  • Ireland: Shannon;
  • Belgium: Brussels-Charleroi;
  • Germany: Düsseldorf-Weeze;
  • Sweden: Stockholm Arlanda.

The airport’s summer programme runs from the end of March to the end of October, and the winter offer is much smaller. Routes change from one season to the next, so the airport’s flight schedule is the reference.

Montpellier airport

At Mauguio, south-east of Montpellier, the airport is served by around fifteen airlines. According to its website, it offers direct flights, depending on the season, from:

  • the United Kingdom: London and Manchester;
  • Ireland: Dublin;
  • Switzerland: Basel-Mulhouse and Zurich;
  • the Netherlands: Amsterdam;
  • Luxembourg;
  • Denmark, Sweden and Norway: Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo;
  • Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece, as well as Paris and several other French cities.

Again, everything varies with the season: see the airport’s direct destinations.

From the airport to the villa

The drive times below come from a route planner and assume traffic is light:

  • From Béziers Cap d’Agde: about 15 minutes to Agde, about 15 minutes to Sérignan and about 20 minutes to Béziers.
  • From Montpellier: about 50 minutes to Agde, and about an hour to Sérignan and to Béziers.

By car. At Béziers, the car-hire desks share a building next to the terminal; at Montpellier, the hire companies are based around the airport. Each airport lists them on its website: Béziers, Montpellier.

By shuttle. At Béziers, a shuttle bus meets each arriving and departing flight, running to Agde railway station, Vias, Marseillan and Béziers bus and railway station. Several taxi firms also serve the airport, and their numbers are listed on its website.

With our team. Our concierge service arranges your transfer from the airport or the station with a private chauffeur, or a hire car, on request and with a quote.

Your arrival at the villa

Once your stay is booked, we send you the exact address, directions and a secure link to finalise your registration. When you arrive, a member of our team is waiting at the villa to hand over the keys and show you around the house. Please give us your arrival time when you book, and let us know if your flight is delayed (our FAQ).

If your flight lands early, we offer an earlier arrival with our compliments when the villa’s schedule allows; our team confirms 24 hours beforehand, never earlier (find out more). If you would like the fridge stocked when you walk in, our concierge service can also have your groceries delivered before you arrive, on request and with a quote.
